We at Dafi talk a lot about our glass pitcher and alkaline filter. We’re proud of our product and to share a healthier and more sustainable method to drinking water at home using this filtration system. Our goal with this pitcher was to create a product that functions with ease, looks beautiful in your home, and is sustainable for the environment, and we nailed all three of those with our alkaline glass pitcher.

WHY ALKALINE?

You’ve heard already now that alkaline water has a higher pH level than most, and is better for your hydration, health, energy, and recovery. Taking pH to the next level, Dafi’s latest development is a unique line of Alkaline UP pitchers and filters, which increases pH level and negative Oxidation-Reduction potential (ORP) in tap water. This helps to bring up proper alkaline-acidic balance to your body.

So much of our traditional diet is acidic based. Just think, when’s the last time you had a cup of coffee? Meat? Or used vinegar on your salad? Maybe had a seltzer water? These are all acidic. Alkaline-based foods, and water, help to balance that acidity out, keeping the body at a healthy, happy level down to a cellular level.

WHAT MATERIALS ARE USED?

Dafi uses only the highest quality raw materials from Germany, and collectively concentrated from the same factory, ensuring the best quality control. The carbon used in our cartridges comes from specially selected coconut shells, which together with a ceramic, alkaline bed gives you healthy and tasty water.

Our pitchers are made of glass, one that is durable and light-weight, and with good reason. Glass provides the highest quality of water storage. The kind we use is called “Borosilicate” which is the glass typically used in laboratory equipment. This creates a chemical barrier, keeps high pH and negative ORP, which is enriched in anti-oxidants.

At our core, we’re all passionate to create products that are better for our planet and reduce waste. Eliminating the use of single-use plastics and bottles is at the forefront of sustainability efforts in our world these days, and we’re proud to be long-time believers and providers of product in such an effort.

Only one small Dafi Alkaline UP cartridge can replace up to 80 regular half-gallon water bottles saving 11 ounces of plastic waste. One gallon of Dafi Filtered alkaline water costs a mere 10 cents, which is incredibly affordable as well.

Furthermore, we know what we’re good at: water. Simply put, we don’t complicate matters with too many products. Instead, we stick to what we know best.
